Day 11: Rockstar Downtime

Space: The final frontier. 

Ok…so that’s a bit dramatic. But, here, on day 11, we needed a little. Kim has a wonderful connection in the hospitality industry that hooked us up with two luxury suites, full kitchens included, for cheaper rates than a Motel 6! And, the rate is good for 3 months! Maybe we’ll use it even after we’ve returned home! 

Anyway, we all got to stretch or limbs, cook a little, do some laundry, and basically get out of each other’s hair for a night. Plus, there’s free breakfast tomorrow. Sounds good to me!

So, Kim and Sandi went to a bar, getting to act like adults for a bit, and Jared and I took Rudyard to his first movie, Kung Fu Panda 3. He sat through the whole thing, laughed, cheered, ate popcorn and only squirmed a couple times. Absolute treasure! And, Jared and I loved the film too! Successful evening all around.
